We’re open for application for this year’s intake of apprentices.
It’s a chance to earn while you learn – and this apprenticeship pays the national minimum wage for your age and not the lower apprenticeship rate. It gives you hands on experience and structured study opportunities – along with the option to go on fabulous learning bite experiences.
The course is carefully structured to support learning at your pace – you’ll never be thrown in at the deep end and left to sink or swim as you will always have your work-based assessor and your colleagues. There’s no such thing as ‘too many questions’- and unlike college you’ll be able to try things as many times as you need rather than learning on paper and swiftly moving onto the next topic.
The apprenticeship leads to an SVQ Level 5 and hospitality employers are attracted to those who have completed an apprenticeship due to their level of workplace experience making them multi skilled and flexible.
Teamwork frequently appears in the top five of an employer’s wish list and you’ll have experience of this by the bucket-load. You’ll work across all hotel departments in an 18 months’ period learning how the jigsaw of pieces fit together in a vibrant hospitality business.
