This apprenticeship is designed to give motivated young people the skills and experience they need to succeed in hospitality and cookery. To apply, you must:

Be 16–24 years old on the start date of the apprenticeship

Be resident in Scotland and hold a UK National Insurance (NI) number

Have a genuine interest in hospitality or cookery and a desire to build a career in the industry

Bring enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn in a professional kitchen or hospitality environment

Have good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team

Be committed to completing the full programme, including on-the-job training and any classroom or online learning
No formal qualifications are required – what matters most is your passion, dedication, and readiness to develop your skills while gaining hands-on experience in some of Scotland’s top venues.
