Hospitality Apprentice Scotland was created by bringing together two highly respected apprenticeship initiatives — Apprenticeship in Hospitality Scotland and Hospitality Apprenticeship North East.
Together, they form one nationally aligned programme designed to equip young people with industry-relevant skills, hands-on experience, and clear pathways for career progression.
This collaboration strengthens a shared commitment to developing the next generation of hospitality professionals, while recognising and building on the distinct strengths and achievements of both founding organisations.
Inspiring Scotland’s future in hospitality since 2014
Established in 2014 by a collective of forward-thinking hoteliers, the programme has played a leading role in nurturing hospitality talent across the country. It was created to give young people a comprehensive introduction to the sector through a structured, multi-departmental approach — rotating apprentices through areas such as front of house, food and beverage, and events.
