Set in the heart of Royal Deeside on the banks of the River Dee, Banchory Lodge is a stunning Georgian country house that’s an idyllic location to start your hospitality career.

With 28 bedrooms, Banchory Lodge is Grade II listed and has been beautifully refurbished to offer guests a relaxed slice of country life, with fishing, golf, and stunning walks right on its doorstep.

The Lodge has its own bar and two restaurants as well as private dining services. It is also a popular event, conference, and wedding venue, and so offers our apprentices plenty of opportunities to experience a varied work programme.

Each team member is valued for their contribution to the running of the hotel, making Banchory Lodge a fun and rewarding place to work. Banchory Lodge also recognises the importance of teamwork and invests time in both in-house and external training to support staff development.

Our apprentices will spend time in each of Banchory Lodge’s departments to build up their experience whilst being an active part of a dynamic team committed to offering exceptional service to all its guests.

Our staff have been very successful in securing HIT Scotland scholarships over the years and 2 of our team are guaranteed places in 2019.
