The Hospitality Apprenticeship North East Chef apprentice offers you the opportunity to train as a chef in some of the finest hotels and restaurants in the north east of Scotland in association with NEScol.

If you are between the ages of 16 and 24 you can apply for this professional cookery apprenticeship which will lead to a City and Guilds level 5 qualification in Professional Cookery. You will also have the choice to extend your apprenticeship to a City and Guilds level 6 Professional Cookery.

Some of our partner hotels and restaurants offer live in accommodation for the right apprenticeship candidates.

Hospitality Apprenticeship North East guarantees to pay you the minimum wage for your age and not the lower apprenticeship rate. We’ll provide a starter knife set thanks to our sponsors Alliance and you will also receive your personalised chef’s jacket sponsored by Fishers.

You will also take part in masterclasses on specific skills and learning bites to enhance your learning alongside your hospitality apprenticeship colleagues.

At the end of your apprenticeship you are guaranteed an interview for any available positions.
